The City of Marshall has openings on several volunteer boards, commissions, and committees appointed by the City Council. The City Council would like for citizens who are interested in being considered for an appointment to one of the boards, commissions, or committees to contact the City of Marshall by telephone at 903-935-4421, or by email at email@example.com, by the end of business day on Monday, October 25, 2021. The City Council will make appointments for new members at a meeting later in December. Terms will begin in January. The following is a listing of the various city-appointed boards, commissions, and committees that have openings for new appointments:

- Marshall Public Library Board of Trustees
- Keep Marshall Beautiful Advisory Board
- Visit Marshall Advisory Board
- Zoning Board of Adjustment

The application is available online or it can be picked up at City Hall. Terms are typically two or three years. Service is strictly voluntary. There is no compensation.
